Vehicle Description Just coming in 1955 Oldsmobile Holliday 98 Hardtop Coupe.
DGC4374 VIN 559C4374 Motor reportedly upgraded to a 394 cubic inch 58 or 59 Olds by Rod Waid, the original restorer of this rust free survivor auto.
He also upgraded the transmission.
He noted the later model motor was stronger and parts if needed are more readily available and are less expensive.
That was noted by my phone conservation with him in December of 2020.
However I have no verified proof and I'm not a knowledgeable Olds person.
The car runs excellent with very good power and does not smoke with clean oil after being driven.
All signs indicate engine has low miles since being rebuilt.
The transmission shifts properly as it should.
All glass is nice original and in top condition as is the stainless and chrome around them.
The interior was redone with original materials in top ( like new condition) including the chrome bars on the headliner.
The dash is beautiful with properly functioning gauges, oil, amps, fuel, and oil pressure.
All lights work through the car.
The turn signals cancel properly and the hand brake light comes on when activated The wide white wall tires have only normal wear but appear as new.
The exhaust is solid with a new muffler.
The front end and suspension is solid and the car drives and handles like you'd expect.
Kick the 4 barrel down into passing gear and away it goes!! The paint and body are very nice.
Straight, Rust free and shiny.
The bumpers look like new, as does all the chrome.
The stainless is top notch and highlights the body Also included is a like new owners manual in the restored glove box with light.
There is an original showroom sales brochure depicting the various models, color and options available.
This brochure highlights this exact 98 Holiday coupe in the color combination.
