LXI Sears Model 564 3 Head Cassette Deck, functions work but for sale in Seattle, WA
LXI by Sears 3 Head Cassette Deck, functions work but channel imbalance. This is a wonderful vintage piece. This would have been the top of the line cassette deck for LXI, Sears' audio equipment brand. Made in Japan by ??. it has three heads, Dolby noise reduction, variable input and output, a lot of nice features. However, it has mechanical meters and mechanical controls, so probably built sometime between 1976 and 1979. See the 11 digit model number in the pictures of the back. I really don't understand why they did that...I am selling the matching 45 W per channel LXI receiver as well. That one is fully functional. Contact me if you want both. This cassette deck has an output channel imbalance. I am assuming that the heads are misaligned, but I can't verify as I am not a technician. It has some scratches on the front panel. All of the controls and meters and lights work, however. It looks like a good project machine.(Check out my other listings for vintage and modern turntables, receivers, speakers and other high quality audio gear. Message me to see if a combination discount is available for multiple items.)
