Hi there! My name is Prema and I'm excited to be your tutor! I'm based in Seattle but teach online and have students all along the West Coast. I'm obsessed with storytelling and creativity. I recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing and Anthropology and have been tutoring Creative Writing and English ever since. During my time at UW, I was awarded the McLenneghan Scholarship which is a scholarship based on academic merit in the study of Shakespeare (an obsession of mine). I was also lucky enough to study poetry and art history in Rome, twice! Together we can build critical skills in areas like organizing our thoughts and opinions, understanding the position of others and conveying our emotions. I tend to focus on myth, fantasy and fiction at large, but I tailor each class to my student's preferences and needs. I like to combine my creative and science backgrounds to promote all aspects of learning. From essays to poetry, there is a myriad of ways to hone our skills.
