Until we have an effective vaccine available in billions of doses, high-volume testing capacity would be of great help, but getting that done will take collective action by NGOs, companies, and governments.
As a senior technical editor, you will:
Review and edit technical documentation used to instruct a broad set of internal stakeholders (e.
g.
, engineers, lab associates and scientists, maintenance technicians) in policies and procedures for lab operations and device maintenance Review and edit business operations documents Manage and maintain organizational knowledge and help pages Review and edit UI/UX copy for human-machine interfaces and other IT systems in lab operations Revise and rewrite technical documentation to be accurate and concise Assist in managing document approvals and release through document management system Work with technical writers, engineers, scientists, product managers, and relevant stakeholders to create, develop, and understand technical content Review and contribute to internal style guide and word lists to promote consistency across technical documentation Develop mechanisms and process improvements for writing, editing, and publishing technical documentation Partner with engineers and lab associates and scientists to implement process improvements in lab technical documentation Manage editing schedules and workflows and communicate schedules internally As needed, contribute to drafting and writing technical documentation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
