Program Manager, Denied Party Screening (DPS)

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join a centralized Denied Party Screening (DPS) team focused on denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes.
This team enables Amazon to comply with regulations as well as understand and manage sanctions risk.
As the Program Manager, you will lead a variety of projects with significant scope and impact supporting several different areas of the business.
In this role, you will work to deliver value to the customer, meeting the scope, manage sanctions risk, and timeline of the effort.
The program is cross functional and requires strong communication skills to coordinate onsite and remote work with teams across the globe.
In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas within our global business.
You will coordinate with DPS management, Amazon Legal, and multiple other teams in the development of projects management standards and other efforts that enable operations and manage risk.
You will be responsible for end-to-end project management to improve denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes.
As a Program manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance customer and business needs versus resource constraints.

In this role, you will:
Develop and manage projects from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues, and devising contingency plans.
Identify and manage project dependencies, risk based prioritization and critical paths.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.
Working independently and remaining flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
