Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Sr. Facilities Engineering Manager

As a member of the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team overseeing corporate office space- this position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Amazon's Corporate Offices in Amazon's Seattle Headquarters & Puget Sound region.
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to the Facilities Operations team and other GREF functional teams in Seattle/Bellevue.
These programs include facilities infrastructure systems specification development and interpretation, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) construction design development, energy conservation and sustainability, smart building technologies deployment, capital asset planning and facilities operations optimization.
Having and in-depth knowledge of FM Operations, Property Management, and design and construction with a strong financial acumen, is critical.
He/she must demonstrate a sense of urgency, bias for action, attention to detail and be comfortable operating in both the strategic and tactical levels, simultaneously acting as an internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer.
This individual must also have experience developing, implementing and managing a number of scalable programs.
Responsibilities Partner with facilities support to ensure seamless execution of maintenance, equipment installations and change management; Develop and maintain building system life-cycle plan and program; Ensure all facility systems are operated and maintained in alignment with established standards and procedures.
Further develops standards and procedures as business and customer needs evolve; Audit and develop a comprehensive lab and technical facility strategy; Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate complex figures; Collect and evaluate post occupancy feedback on infrastructure system design and installation to improve the program continuously; Create and manage an energy conservation program and sustainability program across the portfolio (Seattle/Bellevue); Support the continuous improvement of the facilities operations and construction design support; Develop process improvement or safety best practices based upon those regional experiences that are documented or learned through risk mitigation process; Assist in due diligence, and the scoping, contracting, bidding and close out documentation of all capital and major repair infrastructure projects; Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.
Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports; Develop and maintains positive client relationships.
Conducts client meetings on unresolved facility issues in an expeditious and professional manner; Conduct site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports; Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties; Develop, cultivate, and own key relationships with Landlords, Property Management companies and third party service providers and vendors; Assure capital projects, operations projects, and reconfiguration are managed successfully with outstanding customer service; Support special projects and strategic initiatives for the portfolio.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
