Senior Product Manager-Technical, Retail Imports
Amazon Global Logistics is seeking an experienced candidate that can develop and enhance our inbound logistics capabilities.
The chosen candidate will enable movement of product from the point of production to our fulfillment centers around the world through compelling Products.
Capabilities developed will promote Amazon vendors to reach markets at the right pace and lowest cost in order to expand selection and decrease prices for Amazon's customers.
The successful candidate will build out global retail cross-border logistics products that will enable the logistics at the right cost.
These services will allow Amazon to meet or exceed our strategic objectives, committed service targets, and effectively integrate supplier inbound flows into our worldwide network.
Strong performance in this area is expected to reduce costs and cash outlay for our suppliers and Amazon operations, and improve the Amazon customer experience by making more product available for sale at a lower price.
Responsibilities will include:
Development of global logistics capabilities that reduce friction in the supply chain for Amazon and its suppliers.
Work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and then effectively communicate the solutions, costs, and business case for addressing them.
Analyze, review and validate data to drive program solutions and assist in the direction of projects.
Ensure completion of each product project from initial discovery/request until the point of successful program implementation.
Help lead a global organization with central controls, capability development, and program oversight.
Connect global teams with regional tactical operators and network requirements.
Partner with Amazon and 3P fulfillment operations to establish and enforce operating guidelines, delivery service expectations, and high-quality performance.
Share best practices to accelerate operations improvement quickly, while defining strategies for Amazon to disrupt and innovate this space.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, IT and business groups to share resources, best practices, and articulate needs in order to achieve objectives and develop solutions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
