The Manager will work with the IT Leadership team to support the strategic planning and visioning of application technology to best support needs of KinderCare.
KinderCare is looking for a collaborative leader with strong management skills and deep technical acumen.
A delivery-focused mindset and the ability to build and support client relationships and develop demands into effective IT solutions are critical to the role.
The IT team will look to the Manager to stay connected and current on trends in new technologies, how these new technologies will impact KinderCare, the fields of compliance, security, and accessibility, encouraging innovation and growth.

Key responsibilities include:
Provide business and technical guidance to the corporate office business units with the intent to optimize and streamline the technology and functional processes supporting these business units Lead a small team of employees, contractors and vendors in support of relevant business systems Provide business and technical guidance to the corporate office business units with the intent to optimize and streamline the technology and functional processes supporting these business units Collaborate with the business unit, vendor partners and IT colleagues in examining solution options and planning systems deployment, maintenance and enhancement projects that are in line with the strategic direction defined by the business unit and IT Lead the vendor evaluation selection process for corporate office business units (outside of operations) to include development of requests for proposal, vendor evaluation & selection, and coordination with the enterprise PMO Analyze business requirements, costs and benefits, project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives through formal business cases and project charters Formulate and participate in corporate office business units' governance activities to ensure project costs and schedules are properly controlled also while ensuring execution as defined by the roadmap.
R&D emerging technologies where aligned with the multi-year roadmap.
Evaluate existing applications and platform and provides recommendations for system enhancements by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications Work in a hands-on manner with internal business unit stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs and strategies Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure Qualification:
Key desired skills and experience includes:
BS in IT Services, Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or other applicable degree 8
years' experience working with enterprise packaged applications and SaaS solutions 3-5 years practical experience defining multi-year department level technology roadmaps and strategies 3-5 years of practical experience managing projects, implementing systems and defining business requirements using processes and methods including but not limited to ITIL, PMI, RUP, and Agile Significant experience leveraging strong technical, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills within Information Technology disciplines such as software engineering, design and development, package solution evaluation/selection and implementation, application integration, business process re-engineering, outsourcing, IT governance, application architecture, security and disaster recovery planning Demonstrated, hands-on leadership in the development and institutionalization of contemporary enterprise technology architectures such as Mobile, Web, ERP/MRP, EAI, Identity Management, Portals, Business Intelligence and Cloud Computing Proven experience and expertise in successfully delivering enterprise integration solutions using technologies such as SOA, ESB, JMS, XML, web services Exceptional organizational and planning skills, analytical abilities, problem solving, and follow through Ability to quickly assess and resolve conflicts and provide appropriate follow-up Commitment to excellence in service, performance, and execution Ability to develop strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels Demonstrated executive leadership with proven ability to manage, grow and develop strong IT teams and individuals Exceptional project planning & management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing significant projects from vision through implementation leveraging structured systems development and project management methodologies Significant experience in the development and justification of multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps which are aligned to business goals and strategies Strong application architecture and process discipline with experience in defining business requirements and translating them into well engineered and integrated technical solutions and architectures Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and promotes understanding by not overcomplicating Employer is an Equal Opportunity employer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
