Amazon's HR Organization seeking a flexible, adaptive HR Business Partner to provide to provide hands-on organizational support for the Human Resources organizations. Amazon is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner that will demonstrate business acumen, be driven by developing top talent, and innovative his or her thinking about how to support the organizations and leaders in developing talent.
In this role you will apply business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent management plan and priorities for the Consumer Talent Acquisition and G&A HR organizations. You will partner with senior HR leaders, HR colleagues, Talent Acquisition and the HR Leadership Development Team to develop and roll-out strategies to develop talent and support organizational and capability. You will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. Amazon is looking for a business partner who has the ability to proactively plan and design, as well as identify and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development, implementation and evolution of the organizational strategy in areas such as performance management and talent development
Consult on compensation, organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment
Provide coaching to develop leaders
Consult with managers on employee performance and development activities
Effectively engage, partner and consult with recruiting partners to meet the talent acquisition needs for the organization; interview and assess candidates; support the continued development talent assessment skills within the organization - ensuring a commitment to finding, growing and retaining talent
Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects the values and principles of the organization
Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, retention, and employee experience
Assess leadership and employee development training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate
Partner with central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development

years of combined experience in an HR business partner role and a related HR role such as talent management, leadership development, program management, recruiting, or compensation
Bachelor's degree required

Experience building and rolling out talent development programs
Willingness and ability to both be hands on with all levels of the organization as well as serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs.
Ability to influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization, change thinking, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damaging relationships
Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives
Ability to craft and analyze data to influence decision-making
Global HR or M&A experience
Effective communication skills - written, verbal and listening skills
Excellent presentation skills and experience delivering training
