We have an exciting opportunity in Renton, Washington for a parts professional driver. This associate is responsible for pulling, staging and delivering parts for internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Other duties include:
Receive, check in and stock incoming orders in a timely manner.
Pull parts for customer orders, stage in will-call or prepare for shipping.
Deliver parts to customer sites.
Pick up parts for service department from various vendors
Invoice orders as required, maintaining paperwork in an orderly manner.
Interact professionally with all internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Understand and comply with all Company and customer safety rules.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following
Qualifications:
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to develop positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Self-motivated, team player with desire to work and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
Knowledge of inventory management systems preferred
Demonstrate the ability to initiate, expedite and follow through to task completion
Demonstrate ability to positively react to change in environment, processes and people
Demonstrate ability to engage customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrate ability to acquire skills and knowledge quickly; motivated to learn
Demonstrate ability to pull parts promptly and accurately.
Education and
Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent
Must have current, valid driver's license
Must have and maintain good driving record.
Forklift certification preferred
Understand and demonstrate Cummins Values
Ability to work in fast-paced and ever changing environment.
Compensation and benefits
Hourly wage commensurate with experience plus bonus.
