We own video creation, video catalog, ingestion system, and publish system that makes video available within Amazon and off Amazon.com. Our focus is to get more creators and videos with high quality. To do this, we will build a deep understanding of the creator need.
The video creation experiences you will develop are full stack, owning front end experiences and the services that support them. We build the back end services using Java leveraging AWS technologies.
Finally, if you are like me and care about your management team - ours is diverse, experienced, and top notch. Our directors, senior managers, and peer managers have over 10 years of experience at Amazon, and I have had 15
years experience as developer before I became a manager. All of us deeply care about your career development.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
3
years professional experience in software development
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving
Experience with at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Java, C#, C++, Nodejs
Preferred Qualifications
Masters or PhD in computer science
3
years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling and analysis
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Video and Media Experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
