Responsibilities:
Assists with migration of existing content housed in multiple repositories and tools into new knowledgebase (Salesforce Knowledge). Gathers content from multiple sources, including chats/IMs, email, user documentation, and support cases, and rewrites and/or edits for inclusion in the knowledgebase
Assists with migration of existing forum content into new
community
environment
Writes and/or edits other support content assets, including best practices guides, user guides for verticals (HR,
real estate
, Finance, etc.)
Rewrites existing web content: Simplifies and breaks down long articles and chapters into smaller topics and use cases; adds screenshots; identifies and integrates related content or adds links
Works with content
manager
and stakeholders to identify content gaps and issues requiring content development
Monitors cases, internal communications, and other sources for just-in-time content opportunities; drafts knowledgebase articles for SME review
Applies tags, categories, labels, descriptors, and best bet terms to web and KB content for search optimization. Helps create and maintain metatagging, category, and labeling library
Helps monitor knowledgebase workflow and enforces or triggers tasks for review, edit, approve, publish, archive, and so on. Helps monitor and enforce KB policies and procedures
Works with support SMEs and agents and other internal SMEs to validate and approve content. Follows up with SMEs to ensure timely review/approval of KB articles
Validates content using the DocuSign applications
Follows service-level agreements (SLAs) associated with KB processes and workflow
SEO: Helps analyzes metrics from Google Analytics, tests search terms, and monitors search results. Ensures SEO by improving headings, taglines, teasers based on search metrics

Qualifications:
BA/BS, certification, or equivalent experience in technical writing,
computer
science, or English, with 2-3 years documenting software
Superior technical writing skills, with a focus on developmental editing and rewriting. Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical communications for different audiences
Copyediting skills with a working knowledge of standard style guides
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Facility with software and web tools and technologies. Be able to ramp up on new tools, technologies, concepts, and methods quickly
Knowledge of HTML and web-based authoring tools. Demonstrated ability to use Internet tools and resources
Strong research skills, including gathering material from multiple sources and subject matter experts to develop written content
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Ability to work independently, with a high degree of initiative and within a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize, organize, and shift gears in a start-up-like environment
This is a part-time and full-time job, depending on your availability. Hours are flexible from 1-40 hours a week. Travel is not required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
