Flexo/Digital Supervisor

Responsible for productions involvement with continuous improvement in efficiencies and processes. Using a Lean Manufacturing Program and company ISO standards develops, recommends, and implements measures to all processes, equipment performance, and the quality of the product. Suggests changes to working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the department and teams. Facilitates team and work center meetings to address issues and develop resolutions using lean principles.
Using Microsoft Office software uses information to develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve the department. Posts measurements, documents and records of performance.
Productions main focal for any incident or accident issues in the operation. Will conduct thorough investigation, determine corrective action, and conduct training for all as required by each department. Also, participates in and supports all safety program elements. This includes safety training, inspections, incident investigation, incentive programs, and any other related activities.

Qualifications

Education
A BS degree or five years leadership in a manufacturing environment, experienced and trained in all principles of 7-S, Lean processes and maintaining ISO compliance per the company goals.
Language Skills
Using the English language, demonstrates excellent communication skills, the ability to read and comprehend complex information to resolve issues. Deliver information and training to the team in a comprehensive manner to insure the proper processes and safety protocol are completed. Write clearly and understandably. Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate one on one, in team situations or with other members of management.
Mathematical Skills
Requires an above average skill set to measure components of the processes, suggest appropriate changes and additions to operation and implement those changes.
Reasoning Ability
Possess the ability to determine the logical course of action required when presented with a new issue or course of action required when a repetitive problem occurs.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee maybe required to stand, bend, or squat. The employee may be required to walk, climb, or balance themselves. The employee will need to talk and hear. The employee will use their fingers, hands, and arms to use tools and equipment for the
repair
of equipment. The employee may frequently lift and stack product up to 25 lbs. and infrequently lift materials or pallets up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for this position include: distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee maybe exposed to moving MHE or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in the production areas supervised. The work surface is usually concrete but may also include metal or outside ground surfaces.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
