Associate Manager of Marketing Associate Manager of Marketing and Membership - Temp-to-Hire Arlington-based Trade Association needs an Associate Manager for Marketing and Membership to help implement their communication, marketing and membership recruitment strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a background in marketing and communications to assume a robust role and work with team of dynamic professionals! Duties include:- Assisting the executive editor in planning and publishing the association's quarterly magazine - Brand management, coordinating external messaging across multiple departments - Overseeing all aspects of the organization's online marketing strategy - Managing the contacts section of the association's database - Media relations: providing approved statements to trade and news media, coordinating interview requests - Assisting in the budget planning for communications, marketing, and membership recruitment - Develop short and long-term marketing and public relations plans - Assisting with the production of monthly e-Newsletter - Providing customer service support to association members Successful candidates will have:- A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism - 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Marketing, Communications, or Membership Manager - Be skilled in AP Press Style of writing - Advanced proficiency in web coding programs such as ColdFusion or HTML - Advanced proficiency in Adobe programs (Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop) This is a temp-to-hire position.
