Growth Office Project Manager (Job Number:

Description
The Growth Office PM is responsible for strategy, planning, and execution of programs designed to accelerate Avanade’s growth trajectory.
These programs might be sales focused, alliance focused, industry focused, or innovation focused; regardless, they are intended to be executed cross-functionally in partnership with the Avanade “field” businesses and potentially other global departments.
As a Growth Office PM, the individuals will be responsible for:
1.
Working with Leadership to strategize, document, and design growth programs and imperatives
2.
Developing a plan for executing and tracking these programs – including engaging the appropriate field teams and other corporate teams as needed
3.
Driving the execution of the program working collaboratively with other teams as needed
4.
Tracking, reporting on, and otherwise driving status updates on the progress and results of the program with an eye toward delivering “hard” metrics whenever possible
Growth Office PMs will also be responsible for designing and executing the “rhythm of the business” for the Growth Office and sub-teams within it (especially Global Sales).
Lastly, Growth Office PMs will be expected to provide day-to-day support to the leadership team on presentations, communications, etc.
Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in project management or business management
2+ years of people management experience
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing recommended; MBA highly beneficial
-Demonstrated ability to understand stakeholder goals and expectations, address any misalignment, and monitor and control a program to meet/exceed agreed expectations
- Demonstrated excellence of analytical skills; ability to read, and understand and analyze data to provide valuable insight
- Verified passion and ability to resolve complex issues and promote a result-focused, customer-centric culture
- Highly structured and process oriented with strong commitment to quality and timelines
- Proven track record in successfully and efficiently delivering complex projects
- Thought leader and innovator
- Strong relationship management skills – these are roles with no direct control, so the ability to influence people at varying levels of the organization is essential to success in these roles
- Director role:
strong team management experience; proven leadership skills and ability to orchestrate and motivate direct and indirect reports
- Proven ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams
- Confirmed ability to leverage extensive network of inside and outside contacts to increase influence and to skillfully navigate complex situations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
