Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin s multiple Blue Moon lander product lines.
To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As a member of the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB)/Hardware in the Loop (HIL) team, you will be responsible for developing software requirements & architecture, software models for sensors, actuators, prototype SW, integrating flight software with simulations and support its testing in VTB.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Develop the software requirements for VTB.
Develop the software architecture.
Develop software for various prototype objectives.
Develop and Integrate sensor & actuator software models.
Support flight software integration & testing in VTB.
Diagnose and fix software problems at multiple levels, including installation deployment, configuration, server-side and client-side issues.

Qualifications:

in computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related technical disciplineStrong and active development skills in C / C+
and PythonStrong written and verbal interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and communicate with a diverse user base.

years of relevant experienceProficiency in computer science fundamentals like algorithms and data structures.
Ability to solve problems by writing efficient code, even when given incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong task ownership and a willingness to perform low-level tasks when needed.
Desire to work hands-on, both independently and as part of a team, throughout the development, review, deployment, and support phases of the software product lifecycle.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
