As an AWS Security Operations Center team member, you will help secure that environment for our customers while working on cutting edge security products for a variety of platforms and technologies, all operating at massive scale.
#awssocKey job responsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced security leader to join the AWS SOC Physical Operations team to lead physical incident response for AWS.
As a security leader, you will own building and managing a team of Incident Responders and technical leaders, fostering a strong team culture.
You and your team will be expected to triage security events, produce novel solutions, and collaborate with infrastructure and service teams to take the right actions in appropriate time frames to mitigate risks.
We're looking for a leader that's passionate about building an accomplished Incident Response team, working closely with our Incident Management partners.
Ideally you have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions and services in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly.
You should know how to prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong team.
AWS in general, and Physical Operations Incident Response in particular, operates at very large scale and demands high standards, so a passion and discipline around security and delivery is critical.
A high level of ownership and accountability is a must.
A day in the lifeThis position supports Security Industry Specialists, Security Engineers, and Technical Program Managers responding to physical security related activities.
You will drive incident response related issues to resolution across numerous service teams and other more senior Security Leaders.
You will need a combination of troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle an assortment of disparate tasks which may include large scale global projects and development work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
