Sr. PM, Product Sustainability, Private Brands
The Amazon Private Brands Product Sustainability team is looking for an experienced and dynamic product manager to drive more-sustainable choices throughout every aspect of product creation and to ensure products meet progressive environmental regulations.
The Product Sustainability team is responsible for driving environmental standards for APB products.
And for preparing APB products to meet progressive environmental regulations.
As the Senior Product Manager, Product Sustainability, you will partner with APB teams around the globe, including product developers, sourcing managers, manufacturers, public policy experts, and others, to drive more-sustainable choices throughout every aspect of product creation.
And to collaborate with World Wide Sustainability partners to help set and achieve public goals.
This role requires skills to influence across a global organization, manage a high level of ambiguity, and make high judgement decisions.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and be able to invent new solutions that are simple and effective.
Key job responsibilitieso Develop sustainability regulation readiness programs in line with regulatory and business sustainability objectiveso Create and maintain relationships with internal teams and external service providers to support sustainability initiativeso Engage with Public Policy and Legal teams to monitor, influence and interpret upcoming regulatory requirementso Monitor and analyze developing sustainability regulatory trends and use insights to influence forward looking strategyo Provide direction to internal product and technology teams to influence systems, product designs and serviceso Coordinate supplier communication strategy together with Sourcing and Compliance teamso Develop processes to integrate compliance and sustainability objectives into new product developmento Participate in other sustainability initiatives and programs as neededWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
