Join the team to build what s next!Key QualificationsScreen incoming bugs (understand, reproduce and regress) related to video appsUnderstand software components owned by the various engineering teamsGather debug information from bug reportsUse debugging tools to do an initial triage of bug reportsIdentify potential trends in incoming bugs and escalate to cross-functional teamsDrive improvement of test coverage and new product features based on incoming bugsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in scripting languages such as Python is a plusDescriptionThis position involves a combination of technical troubleshooting, clear communication and meticulous organization skills. You will work to understand incoming bugs, reduce them to actionable steps, and assign them to appropriate engineers. We also need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Excellent communication skills are a must, because of the high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, detail-oriented with a genuine passion for diagnosing and triaging software issues.Education & Experience- BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
