The HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER PHARMACY DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a FULL-TIME CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST - BURNS/PEDIATRICS (Rotating/Variable Shifts). The Clinical Staff Pharmacist (Pharmacist 3) acts as an integral member of the HMC Burns/Pediatrics services, providing pharmacotherapeutic recommendations to primary providers, nursing, and dietician staff to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to direct patient care, drug distribution, research & education, and practice management as it pertains to the care of burns/pediatrics patients.
Strong candidates will have an advanced degree or residency, or 2 years experience in clinically oriented hospital pharmacy practice.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Burns and pediatric services.
Assist in the development and carrying out of quality assurance programs for Burns and Pediatric Patients ensuring organizational compliance with national practice standards (e.g. CORE measures, UHC benchmarks, etc)
Participate as an active member of the Burns and Pediatric teams to assist in achievement of specific therapeutic outcomes by continuous monitoring of drug therapy.
Participate in medication order review, clarification, validation, and order verification.
Monitor the nutritional needs of Burn and Pediatric patients; review and write TPN orders.
Provide drug information and in-service education to pharmacy staff, nurses, residents and other providers on critical care-related issues.
Precept critical care and general pharmacy practice residents and undergraduate pharmacy students.
REQUIREMENTS:State of Washington Pharmacist License and one year of experience in hospital pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the required experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT: State of Washington Pharmacist license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
