The Director Actuarial Services leads and manages teams with responsibility for coaching actuaries and developing student actuaries.
This position will support the Individual & Family Plans (IFP) medical product line, with a focus on reporting and analysis for risk adjustment programs and value-based care (VBC) arrangements.
In this role, you will construct models to project risk adjustment scores, analyze emerging experience, and work across multiple departments to identify opportunities to improve risk score accuracy and outcomes.

Primary
Responsibilities:
The Director Actuarial Services will lead and/or coordinate analytical efforts to support the assumption setting for risk adjustment, market morbidity, and risk-sharing settlements to be used in product pricing, reserve setting, and financial forecasts.
Additional Projects may include:
Developing actuarial modelsPreparing experience analysesSupporting regulatory filing assumptionsAssisting in the development of financial forecasts and projections The preferred location for this position is Minnetonka, MN or Hartford, CT or any UHG office.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or related degreeASA or FSA designation7
years of actuarial experienceActuarial experience in health careAdvanced or higher level of proficiency building models in MS ExcelPreferred
Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is $122,100 to $234,700 annually.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
