Sr. Technical Program Manager, GTPC Product Compliance Infrastructure

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Technical Program Manager to help drive implementation of compliance-focused hardware certification programs.
This position will support AWS's product compliance function covering hundreds of internal use data center and customer-focused hardware products.
The program will encompass global certifications for product safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency (RF), energy efficiency, and restricted substances.
The Technical Program Manager will engage AWS HW Engineering, suppliers/manufacturers, track global certification status of products, collect, validate, and archive compliance documentation.
Direct interface will be with compliance engineering team, hardware development and business teams, supply chain and logistics, equipment suppliers, third party test labs and certification agencies, and regulatory bodies.
You will report to the Product Compliance Engineering TPM Team Manager and be part of the product compliance function within AWS's Global Trade and Product Compliance team (GTPC) that ensures that all equipment procured for use in AWS data centers, as well as equipment sold or provided to customers, satisfies global regulatory requirements.

GTPC is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the AWS services are imported/exported in a compliant manner across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand, including all product certification/safety regulations.
Key job responsibilities- Complete ownership and accountability for NPI product compliance activities within assigned business lines.
- Interface with AWS HW Engineering, Product Compliance Engineering, Legal, Trade and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of compliance project management.
- Ownership and delivery of key compliance process documentation as assigned.
- Interface with manufacturing partners in the US and oversees during the NPI process to manage execution activity of compliance projects.
- Collect, validate, and store evidence of compliance at the product level across a large portfolio of hardware products.
- Manage relationships with test labs and certification agencies, including contracting and budget.
- Lead high impact projects across several teams to mitigate risk to Amazon by leveraging project - Partner with key stakeholders to help define program strategy, project plans, and manage technology implementations.
