What this job involves - As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and GMP operations for our client in the pharmaceutical industry.
Your primary accountability will be to ensure seamless facility operations and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
What is your day to day? Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impact tenant relations issues.
Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information.
Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner.
Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with the clients' goals and objectives addressed, track variances and ensure smooth recovery process.
Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts.
Responsible for overall team management, staff development and planning.
Execute staff succession and growth plans.
For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans, direct report in consistent conversations regarding progress.
Support the IFM Team in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client project.
Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.
Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative.
Matrix manages both technical and administrative staff.
Oversee multiple facilities of different functions.
Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Desired experience and technical skills RequiredMinimum of 8 years of experience in Facilities Management or a relevant field.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Facilities Management, Business Management, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education will be considered.
Demonstrated strong leadership and relationship building skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
PreferredGxP Cleanroom or other Critical Environment experience preferred.
