Amazon is seeking a Construction Coordinator who would love to help us with project administration.

This position requires you to manage and maintain schedules, procure materials and equipment for construction, place and manage purchase orders, contracts and project documentation because organization and attention to detail are in your DNA.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners.

Duties o Responsible for tracking project status and relaying the information to internal and external teams and business partners.
o Creates and maintains project files.
o Responsible for collecting vendor quotes, assessing against construction drawings and processing purchase orders including full tracking up to delivery on site.
o Responsible for tracking orders on a per project basis.
o Communicates and distributes project related information to vendors and internal partners.
o Resolves problems with back orders, items not received, defective and damaged goods.
Initiates and reports on damage and/or defective claims with warehouses and outside suppliers and vendors.
o Partners with the Construction Manager to coordinate and resolve shipping issues within internal and external teams and business partners.
o Responsible for tracking insurance certificates throughout a project.
o Partners with Construction Manager to ensure correct quantities are ordered based on construction document schedules, manages logistics for warehousing/delivery, and contracts align with budgets.
o Identify and manage opportunities to increase efficiency of vendor contract and purchase order implementation, project administration, and project closeout.
o Participates in the continuous improvement of procurement processes and implementation of best practices to maximize efficiency for the Design, Implementation and Development (DID) team.
Some travel may be necessary to project sites.
Summary of Experience o Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
o Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.
o Demonstrates willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work environment and deals effectively with varying workload requirements; can shift gears comfortably, manages competing demands, delays or unexpected events.
o Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
o Knowledge of procurement process life cycle.
o Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
