To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our AMER Program Management Office and Strategy Programs Team as a Senior Manager.
In this key role, you will manage the PMO & Strategy team and drive projects and programs that focus on standardising and optimising Security and Loss Prevention processes across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
Key job responsibilities1.
Communication Management:
o Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure effective dissemination of project updates, milestones, and key information to stakeholders.
o Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
o Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to address concerns, provide updates, and mitigate risks.

Project Tracking and Monitoring:
o Establish robust project tracking mechanisms, including dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and ensure timely delivery.
o Implement best practices for project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to optimize project performance and outcomes.
o Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess project health, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Change Management:
o Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, minimize resistance, and maximize adoption of project initiatives.
o Collaborate with project teams to identify potential impacts of change, assess stakeholder readiness, and develop communication and training plans to support successful change implementation.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, solicit feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Personnel Management:
o Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to PMO staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
o Oversee resource allocation, workload management, and performance evaluation processes to ensure optimal team productivity and engagement.
o Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support cross-functional collaboration and alignment of project objectives.

Run the Business Initiatives and Strategy:
o Collaborate with executive leadership to understand overarching business strategies and objectives.
o Align PMO initiatives and processes with business goals, ensuring that projects contribute to the organization's long-term growth and profitability.
o Lead the development and implementation of run the business initiatives, focusing on operational excellence, efficiency improvements, and cost optimization.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the impact of run the business initiatives and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
A day in the lifeAs the Senior Program Manager of the AMER PMO & Strategy team, you are responsible for a team of program managers who support the Security and Loss Prevention team with organizational growth and structure.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting the team's project and program management direction and you will be accountable for the performance of the PMO team.
Thus, you will ensure that the team can effectively assist with roadmap development to enable network deployment of resources to deliver projects and programs.
You risk assess and prioritize incoming workload to ensure delivery meets service level agreements with internal customers and avoid adverse impact to the business.
You will use your knowledge and expertise to coach as well as manage your entire team and to remove blockers preventing them from achieving their goals and objectives.
Your team manages projects as well as programs that have a strong emphasis on standardising, optimising, and automating processes; however, you will take ownership when problems become highly complex and will own the technical projects workstream with a strong emphasis to automate solutions.
You manage the planning of recruiting as well as frugal deployment of resources.
Finally, you will engage senior management from across AMER to ensure a positive working relationship and understand opportunities to support.

The team manages projects that ensure operational standardization in the field and drives projects and programs that optimize and automate processes, enabling Security and Loss Prevention to work smarter and more agile.
AMER PMO also ensures that Security and Loss Prevention has sufficient, suitable, and skilled personnel to match growth and creates standardized, optimized, and automated mechanisms to support organizational growth and structure.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
