The Business Development Lead will establish, grow, and maintain relationships with key contacts at licensed Dispensaries on behalf of Cultivar Farms and its affiliated products.
This includes evangelism of the House of Cultivar brand and its respective product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Work closely with sales team to maintain and effectively manage active retail accounts Collaboratively defines new account targets with Sales team and acquire new business Establishes relationships with management team at defined retail locations Visits active retail accounts and evaluate potential opportunities to grow accounts Proactively performs store visits and provide educational materials and samples Updates and manages customer relationship database with relevant account information Increases existing account sales in collaboration with internal Sales team Ensures that monthly and quarterly revenue targets are met in define customer base Collaborates with marketing team to define requirements and create materials supporting the sales cycle Prepares vendor sample packs for retail locations Schedules retail sample drops for the following week Schedules vendor days and facility tours for existing and new accounts Works with Sales team to develop strategies and agendas for customer visits Executes sample drops/first delivery on any new accounts (including re-sets of current and/or former accounts) Participates in weekly Sales planning meetings Because of our commitment to customer service and the well-being of our team, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of administrative and field duties from time to time.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Adheres strictly to internal Cultivar Farms Employment Policies Takes initiative and aggressively seek new business on behalf of Cultivar Farms Proficient in industry tools such as GrowFlow and Headset Proficient in Office 365 software suite Able to operate with a Client Service focus Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis products Ability to be organized and display excellent time management skills Self-motivated work ethic and ability to work independently is a must have EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
3 years of cannabis industry sales experience preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and other staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute ratio and percent and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

This is a normal cannabis producer/processor setting; noise level ranges from quiet to loud but is usually moderate.
