This is a remote role in the Seattle, WA area.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World In the Microsoft Commercial Leader role, you will be responsible for developing account relationships at an executive level, as well as managing the ongoing customer account relationships for Microsoft with the sales contributors.
This is a highly visible position.
Proactive resolution of customer issues and partner concerns is pivotal.
Daily collaboration with the account managers and other pertinent stakeholders to assess critical decision-maker needs and understand customers' business, technology, and product requirements to develop a plan of action to meet customer needs.
Works with business unit leaders in support of customer needs and events.
Works extensively with field sales to engage local partner relationships.
Global oversight for the Microsoft program and the Plan of Record.
Coaches a team of Partner Account Managers to create and drive non-traditional channel partners.
In conjunction with SAMs and Field Teams, accountable for revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning, and other administrative tasks to grow financial objectives.
Ensures that appropriate internal resources are engaged to participate in sales and partner enablement activities that close sales opportunities.
In alignment with the critical account strategic account plans, formulates, develops and implements channel, business, and sales action plans at the tactical level to achieve financial goals for the Partner Account Managers.
Create Programs and other incentives to help create value in the CommScope Program for Microsoft PartnersAnswerable for expense management for assigned Partners.
Yields information and reports to inform management of sales progress and success.
Integrates with sales contributors to assess market opportunities and develop business plans to meet revenue objectives.
Oversees Market research and analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers.
Evolves recommendations on growth and opportunities for key target accounts.
Inspires and directs salespeople to support CommScope's strategic sales objectives (i.
e.
, new product sales, new customer acquisition, etc.
).
Provides leadership, coaching and counseling for all associates in sales concepts, principles and practices.
Recruits, hires, trains, and develops competent sales personnel consistent with business needs and CommScope's human resources policies.
Regulates the execution of field engagement and enablement of the sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads to coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, negotiating, closing and servicing MicrosoftRequired Qualifications for Consideration:
Ten or more years of executive sales experience managing key accountsCustomer/ Account/Market/Industry Knowledge:
thorough knowledge of market and customer baseProduct/Service/Solution KnowledgeVirtual home officeAbility to travel 30-40% globallyOur salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs.
Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.
This position's expected total compensation range (base
sales bonus) is $160,400 to $240,700.
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan.
Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
