This role is part of Blue Origin Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance and supports supplier Source Inspection across all of Blue Origin programs and business units.
Source Inspection provides effective, cost-efficient inspection services at product suppliers.
These services are required to ensure Blue Origin program's hardware and documentation meets quality requirements before arriving at Blue Origin.
Source Inspection includes internally supported, Delegated Supplier Quality Release(DSQR) and Third Party Inspection (TPI).

Partner with procurement to contract third party inspection (TPI) companies and on board suppliers to the Blue Origin DSQR program Coordinate with different Blue Origin programs to estimate and update the funding required for TPIs Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering and Receiving Inspection teams to designate how inspections will be supported for individual hardware suppliers.
Ensure the payment process for the TPIs is being supported in a timely manner Establish and enhance metrics that allow for effective monitoring of key performance indicators Ensure product surveillance activities are completed and corrective actions are identified as necessary Resolve source inspection schedule/priority issues Define and improve policies, procedures, and work instructions relating to Source Inspection activities Drive Continuous Improvement
Qualifications:
Industry experience in product acceptance to include Source Inspection Intermediate to expert experiencing using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc) Experience managing/scheduling third party services Minimum 4 year degree in related field Minimum 5 years aerospace or manufacturing preferably within the supplier quality organization Experience with developing and utilizing metrics/analyzing data to drive improvement and monitor health of assigned areas Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.

permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
S.
as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Travel to other sites and suppliers will be required on an occasional basis Ability to work on site.
This will not be a remote position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
