The HR team for Amazon Entertainment is seeking a Principal Program Manager (PM) to build and run talent programs for Tech professionals across our Entertainment businesses, as well as the leaders who serve them.
Tech professionals must continuously develop both hard skills (e.
g.
, Gen AI) and soft skills (e.
g.
, writing, developing Tech employees) to succeed at Amazon.
In addition, HR leaders must build their own Tech capabilities to optimize their partnership with the business, including Tech business fundamentals, roles, compensation, and promotion processes.
The Principal PM will treat both these cohorts as their customers.
As such, they must be able to successfully engage and influence Tech leaders, HR leaders, and talent leaders of all levels.
The Principal Program Manager will also partner closely with the HR Director for Prime Video & Studios (PVS) Core Tech to strategically up-level the value, impact, and operations of the PVS Core Tech team.
In this context, the Principal PM will have specific operational responsibilities, along with the broader remit to identify, prioritize and resolve operational barriers to organizational effectiveness.
The individual in this role must be able to work backwards from customers, determine their needs, and meet them through effectively scaling existing programs or innovating new ones.
They must be able to build strong connections across Amazon (e.
g.
, with GTM, L&D, and other Tech HR teams), influence and deliver through peers, and engage effectively with Tech leaders of all levels.
They must also have a sense of urgency, high attention to detail coupled with the ability to connect back to the overall strategy, and a track record of delivering multiple programs simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Finally, they must have excellent written and verbal communication, and be comfortable using data as a lever for influenceKey job responsibilitieso Deliver capability-building and engagement programs to Tech employees and the Entertainment Tech HR community, either by discovering and scaling existing programs or creating new oneso Drive the semi-annual L7
Tech promo process for PVS, evolving as needed to meet the needs of the businesso Create and iterate best practices for preparing and presenting people insights to senior Tech leaders, including how to integrate reliable data in an easy to consume format; drive consistency where relevant across teamso Develop and execute goal creation and tracking mechanism to support inspection and prioritization on an ongoing basiso Own cadence, agendas, and content of PVS Tech PXT team meetings, set quality standards for materials presented, and coach presenters on how to productively drive outcomes We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
