Principal HRBP, DSS PXT
Amazon Devices & Services is seeking a results-driven, innovative HR Leader to be part of a fun ground breaking team and partner with leaders.
This role will partner with senior leaders and their teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities in support of organizational capability.
The individual in this role must apply deep business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent management strategy and HR priorities for the organization.
We are looking for a Human Resource professional who has the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive creative and appropriate solutions.
You will need to demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence business leaders with data-driven recommendations.
Whether coaching your clients on leading their teams, developing innovative solutions and programs to deliver results for our business or navigating and resolving employee relations issues, you will be a champion of Amazon's culture and values, partnering with your clients to help them build and retain customer obsessed teams.
This is a true generalist role with an opportunity to be both hands-on and strategic, providing human resources expertise in the areas of coaching/development, organizational design, succession planning, talent assessment and development, compensation, employee relations, and much more.
You will be embedded with the business, and will work closely with its leadership team on organizational and people related issues.
You will be instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs/initiatives within the organization.
The successful candidate will display a depth of understanding of and passion for partnering strategically with their business leaders and international partners.
They must be a creative thinker who can support and advocate for the needs of a unique group that is integral to the success to Amazon as a whole.
A day in the lifeThis role will own end to end HR needs for the the Portable Devices organization.
This is a global team led by a VP with 635
tech and non-tech L4
supporting the full portable device portfolio and owns solutions for all these devices.
About the teamThe DSS PXT team supports Amazon's Device Software and Services (DSS) organization.
DSS invents on behalf of our customers, partners, and communities.
Its vision is ambient intelligence, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to weave together devices and services in a way that offers more value than any one product could on its own--at home or on the go.
Customers inspire DSS, and they've been at the heart of how products are invented and evolve.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA Sumner, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
