401k Ops Manager, Benefits Experience and Technology (BXT)

Amazon is seeking an experienced 401(k) Operations Manager to join the Financial Benefits team.
This position will focus on program operations and systematic administration for the U.
S.
401(k) plan.
Key expectations of this role include maintaining the systematic processing of daily operations, and responsibility for regulatory compliance through audit and reconciliation.
As a 401(k) Operations Manager, this person is also expected to maintain both plan participants and fiduciary interests in developing new plan features, identify improvement opportunities for existing processes and systems data flows, enhance services, reduce costs and drive greater efficiencies to meet the needs of our rapidly growing global business.
Key job responsibilities- 401(k) Plan administration - ownership of all daily and other recurring processes to support the U.
S.
401(k) Plan.
This includes monitoring transactions completed by an internal resource center, ensuring all types of plan transactions and contributions are processed accurately, on time, and compliant with plan requirements, managing operations relationships with third party vendors, continuously evaluating processes to identify opportunities for process improvement and to propose recommended changes, and developing tools and communications to support increased plan participation across all business units, and responding to employee inquiries and escalations in a timely manner - Compliance, Audit and Reconciliation - management of annual compliance testing, including reconciling plan contributions with payroll and service provider to ensure timely and accurate funding, providing necessary reporting to Corporate Accounting and Treasury to support plan asset reconciliations, and supporting the annual external plan audit, prepare all plan information for annual Form 5500 filing.
- System management - maintain system used for 401(k) administration, including but not limited to monitoring business needs and requirements for future system enhancements, integration with internal and vendor systems, system issue analysis and resolution, development of long-term strategy, and managing budget/cost.
- Project management - participate in benefits and mobility initiatives, identify opportunities, create project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes and documentation associated with ongoing support for employees and stakeholders.
- 401(k) Communications - Develop operations related communications in partnership with internal resources and third party vendors- Maintain a dashboard of all plan information, including 401(k) trends and key metrics for the program, provide recurring financial reporting and ad-hoc reporting to key stakeholders, including Sr.
leadership and the 401(k) Committee as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
