What youll be doingAnother Sources client, Community for Youth, is recruiting an Executive Director to join their team in Seattle, Washington.
This position is full-time, hybrid work setting with 2-3 days expected in-person at the office Seattle, and occasional evening and weekend work.
The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and oversees 4 full-time staff.

org/The Role:
The Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.
The Executive Director will initially develop deep knowledge of CfY with respect to core programs, finance, operation, and strategic plans.
The ED provides strategic direction and collaborative leadership to establish and implement the organizations mission.
They will proactively establish the staffing structure, resource prioritization, and financial reporting, driving towards organizational growth and sustainability.
The ED enables everyone in the organization to do their best work by providing strong internal leadership through a consensus, must bring an anti-racist, equity and social justice lens to work.
The ED seeks out ways to stay connected to the programs and is willing to embrace and improve an established environment of success.
The Day to Day:
Leadership & Development Vision-setting and development of the strategic plan to grow CfYs community impact and reach, in collaboration with staff and the Board of Directors; ensure staff fully comprehend the strategies they are responsible for executing to achieve success.
Cultivate and nurture donor relationships and expand fundraising activities to scale existing program operations and support future growth opportunities.
Actively engage and energize CfYs broad network of alumni, volunteers, and funders; act as an ambassador and effective spoke person for CfY om issues impacting youth in the community.
Financials Oversees grant management and proposal submissions in collaboration with the grant writer and assures that related program documentation complies with grant and contract requirements.
Responsible for the oversight of the budget ($700,000 annually) and full-year forecast, ensure adequate and diversified financial resources, and implement necessary risk mitigation or resource investments.
ProgrammingProvide guidance and leadership to enable scaling of Learning Communities and Duos programs and develop the strategic plan to accelerate their growth trajectories; support Program staff in developing the operational plan to increase the number of student-mentor matches.
Engage deeply within CfYs unique youth development program to foster a profound understanding of out mission and communities we serve; model leadership behavior for staff and students through consistent attendance in community activities.
Staffing Directly lead a diverse team consisting of program and business development staff, interns, volunteers, and contractors.
Provide coaching and professional development for advancing skills that results in staff retention and career pathing.
Lead and set results-driven agenda for staff meetings, deliver performance reviews, and onboard new staff members.
Reinforce and support the existing organizational culture that values collaboration, transparency, equity, and social justice.
What we would like to see from you:
5 years of leadership experienceleading the operations of a non-profit or equivalent organization Fund development experience, including individual donors/memberships, grant procurement, corporate sponsorships with major legacy donors and community partnerships.
Experience working with full P&L (I.
e.
, revenue, expenses, and margin) budget management; experience with a diverse mix of revenue sources strongly preferred.
Process an understanding of equity-centered leadership, and mastery of concepts of institutional and structural racism and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities.
Excellent organizational leadership and interpersonal skills, with strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
