CAP Community Relations Officer

The Community Relations Officer is responsible for coordinating, organizing and steering efforts to represent Cooke Aquaculture Pacific (CAP) favorably in the Clallam County community.
This position acts as a liaison for the organization and the local community, develops and implements programs that promote goodwill and fosters positive relations with community leaders, and professionally represents the company with governmental agencies, industry groups and local community members.
He or she will be responsible for participating in community based coalitions and meetings in order to network and cultivate community support for CAP initiatives and business practices; will oversee the development and distribution of publications and informational materials (in coordination with the Cooke Aquaculture Communications team) to enhance local community awareness of CAP and its benefits to the local community; and will educate key community stakeholders on global aquaculture enterprises.
Reporting to the General Manager of Cooke Aquaculture Pacific, the Community Relations Officer will coordinate activities and materials with the Cooke Aquaculture Communications team.
Recommended Skills Business Ethics Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
