Responsible for institutionalizing a safety culture throughout the operation through strong leadership and management skills that maintain the highest degree of integrity and credibility
Maintains compliance with OSHA, state/local environmental standards, airport security protocols and reviews Safety Net for Lost Work Day Cases, OJIs, aircraft damages and generates required reports for station leadership
Executes and measures both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety conscious environment that results in the protection of our employees and assets
Required to identify and work with the impacted teams to formulate comprehensive solutions and communicate safety, security and environmental related issues to all levels of leadership
Leads/manages the development of effective prevention programs and initiatives with realistic measurement capabilities to ensure consistent performance for all ACS personnel and assets
Influences a safety culture that promotes peer to peer accountability; develops sound strategic policies and procedures that increase awareness and minimize workplace human factor incidents
Participates in the education and advancement of the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) as well as leading investigations
Manages ongoing and complex changes to the ACS GOM, OSHA, EPA and FAA and ensure implementation of those changes
Regularly interfaces with defined corrective and preventative actions regarding safety compliance audits conducted internally and externally should be able to build effective safety business partnerships with Delta's outside contractors/business partners
Provides leadership and direction to direct reports who will manage a team of frontline safety advocatesSalary:

At least 3 years of leadership experience in safety, security, compliance, or operational management
Applicants should have a strong orientation toward operational duties along with self-motivation and a high proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
Should present a professional business-like image, have a high work ethic and commitment to excellence
Should work well under pressure, be detail-oriented, meet deadlines, and exhibit excellent organizational skills
Candidate should possess exceptional computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Should possess sound decision-making abilities as well as analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle several projects simultaneously
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United StatesWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience
Airline experience is strongly preferred
Work experience in operations, passenger services, cargo, cabin service and a background in airline industry policies and procedures are strongly preferredDelta Air Lines, Inc.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
