Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position.
The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites.
QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment.
During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 4
years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java and SQL is desired, but not required.
Experience with Selenium highly desired Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:
Sundeep owns navigation feature across all platforms.
Navigation is essentially navpod that you see on Client applications, Client desk top, website, ect.
Looking for experience in creating test plans, coming up with test data and executing them.
There will be sr QA's that can help them get the context and get the bigger picture but the team needs help with execution.
Along with these the team owns the end to end release so will need support there as well.
It will mostly be Manual testing but there will be some Automation testing work as well.
They will be integrated with the dev team, be part of the full life cycle of the product but will own the quality aspect.
Projects:
The team follows the agile module.
They have both large and small projects that the contractor may work on.

We need support in performing manual verification of 300 test cases every week for failed automated test cases for Web(web already has 80% automation coverage) and 350 test cases per marketplace to support weekly app release candidate requests, verifying and approving 100 LinkTree change requests/week to support 40 teams.
We are requesting for 1 contractor's, one would support on call and the other would help with project testing, regressions on migrations etc.

Contractor should voice for all the potential customer issues they can find and if they don't push back and just accept it will not be a good experience for customers.
Onboarded and worked with top five contractors, 2-3 days Testing experience is mandatory, would not have time to train to test things.

Great results with 2-3 days of ramp up time.
Software development life cycle, processor tools are the similar to standard industry.
So would expect them to know those and would use the first few days to fill in on the product, how certain things connect with each other, and how the entire thing flows.
That way they can focus and start executing right away.
Top 3 must-have hard skills Engineer testing within frame works websites.
Having testing experience on native apps or hybrid apps Testing experience is mandatory, would not have time to train to test things.
