DescriptionPosition Summary As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department's activities and initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company's products and brand.
You will work closely with various teams, including external marketing agencies, creative professionals, strategic partners, and internal departments to ensure successful implementation of marketing plans.
Essential Job Functions Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email, print, and events.
This includes working with external agencies, managing deliverables, and analyzing results.
Create compelling content including blog articles and media that support marketing campaigns and SEO efforts Measure and report performance by channel and activity and create monthly analysis, providing key insights and proposing recommendations on how company can optimize ad spend and marketing activities Set up and optimize affiliate marketing program Coordinate ticket sales with strategic partners including setup, pricing and reporting Support special event planning & execution Job Requirements and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar, or equivalent experience.
May also have a combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree Analytical mindset Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and systems Reporting - Comfortable building reports and analyzing data.
Knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, charts, and shortcuts in Excel Willing to learn booking systems and marketing platforms Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events) Preferred Qualifications Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Business Analysis, Hospitality Management, or related degree Experience with Google Analytics and reporting on KPIs Basic understanding of SEO and affiliate marketing Basic understanding of paid advertising and advertising platforms Basic graphic design experience with tools such as Canva Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for long periods of time (with option to stand at sit/stand desk) Must be able to operate computers and look at screens for long periods of time Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds Must be able to occasionally be on boats Must be able to navigate piers, docks, vessel decks, ramps and clamshell paths Additional Questions about Argosy?
