The Advanced Practice Provider will provide specialized care for patients with autonomic dysfunction and neurologic disorders, including ALS patients, neuropathy patients for ongoing monitoring, and patients with other neuromuscular issues.
This is a great opportunity to join our interdisciplinary collaborative team of outstanding providers.
SCHEDULEFull time, day shift, Monday - Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIESConduct initial consults, as well as follow-up visits for patients.
With keen attention to the specific needs of patients, deliver excellent care, with compassion, motivation, and sound medical knowledge.
Coordinate and monitor patients' status in conjunction with attending physicians, social workers, and other providers.
Respond to patients' healthcare needs, providing triage, urgent care and interventions as necessary/appropriate.
Follow patients, including longitudinal care and follow-up, in conjunction with other providers.
REQUIREMENTSNationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
Current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse Licensure and ARNP Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduate of an accredited PA program.
Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in patient care.
Experience in the provision of neurological services including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients.
