3 Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Vendor Program Director The Vendor Program Director is a full time, exempt position reporting to the Executive Director.
This leadership position supervises the Vendor Program and is responsible for meeting goals around circulation, vendor recruitment and retention, and community partnerships.
The Vendor Program is the core of the organization and this position is key to ensuring agency and vendor success.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities Vendor Program (50%) Ensure department is meeting circulation goals through the implementation of innovative strategies that increase sales opportunities for vendors Develop and oversee programs to support increased vendor recruitment and retention Provide leadership to ensure a safe and welcoming environment in the Vendor Center Foster positive community relationships through sensitive enforcement of vendor guidelines Oversee updates to the policies and practices of the Vendor Program Maintain and develop Vendor Database Provide customer support to vendors Outreach (20%) Develop relationships with partners in the community that promote vendor recruitment and success Coordinate and schedule staff presence at community and partner events Develop strategies to promote Real Change through special events, visibility tools, and marketing Department Supervision (15%) Supervise the vendor department staff, interns and volunteers Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times Facilitate weekly staff meetings Design semi-annual vendor staff retreats to review program policies and ensure vendor satisfaction Tend to professional development of staff by providing training opportunities.
Leadership Duties (15%) Create and manage annual department budget Hire, train, and supervise program staff, interns, volunteers and vendor leaders; actively support employee growth and development and conduct evaluations Coordinate Vendor Center activities with other departments Participate in executing RC's strategic planning goals and objectives Serve on the Anti-Oppression workgroup and participate in Real Change's ongoing work around race and class equity Other duties as assigned Required Skills:

years working with homeless and/or low-income populations Experience in conflict management and de-escalation Familiarity with mental illness, substance-use disorders and other disabilities Proven project and people management skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Computer proficiency and database management experience Ability to work in a hectic, sometimes loud workspace Compensation:
Salary range is $64,000-$66,000/year.
