The Program Specialist, Brand Experience is an integral part of REI's Local and Inclusion Marketing Team and will partner closely with regional marketing teams and cross-divisional partners to activate against Local Marketing and Enterprise priorities, to help drive brand awareness and relevance in local markets.
This role will also assist in producing memorable activations that support our national strategic vendor and brand initiatives.
This role reports to the Manager of Brand Experience, Local Marketing, and will work closely with Program Managers and Specialists within Local Marketing and across the co-op to orchestrate program plans.
The ideal candidate:
Is detail-oriented, analytical and a creative thinker who understands the value of community relationships and connecting our brand to local communities in an authentic and relevant way Has a broad understanding of the marketing mix, with the drive to improve process and tools that help build efficiencies and improve marketing program results Takes initiative, knowing how to establish priorities, while being a thoughtful collaborator and communicator, involving team members when appropriate Responsibilities include, not limited to the following:
Support the Program Managers and overall Brand Experience team in the design and delivery of local marketing programs and processes Assist in the planning, execution, and recapping of local and store events that support national partnerships and enterprise priorities.
This includes close partnership with cross-divisional partners such as Retail Ops and Regional Marketing teams, as well as external regional vendor and brand partners.
Manage Local Marketing annual program calendar inputs, including helping prepare ROI analysis where appropriate Manage the creation of toolkits and resources to support scaled local marketing programs, including shepherding the creative development process and helping develop efficiencies across priority creative assets Manage national event inventory and event asset refreshes Track invoices and budget Collect feedback and program recaps to draw ROI insights that inform future state of programs and processes Contribute to strategy development in partnership with Program Managers and Brand Experience Manager Bring your passion and expertise 2
years experienced in marketing, communications, or relevant field Ability to effectively plan and execute marketing programs including event/experiential components, with strategic direction from team members and managers Experience and demonstrated success collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external vendor and/or brand partners, elevating relationships through quality work High degree of organizational skills, executing effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of project and goal progress Demonstrated understanding of consumer behavior and applying insights to daily work Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in solution of problems and pursuit of business opportunities Embraces, champions, and influences others in making change Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications REI hires, trains, and promotes regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.

The pay for this role is:
$63300 - $101500 per year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
