Manager of Software Engineering, Member Growth

At any given moment SoFi is running a variety of promotions in order to drive engagement and long term ecosystem growth. The Growth and Rewards Platform is the backbone which enables us to launch experiments, manage campaign lifecycles, make data driven decisions and create a fun and engaging experience for our members. What you'll do:
Lead the development and testing of system components/services, code and design reviews Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product Help translate user stories into technical solutions Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree, in a technical field 6
years software engineering experience, ideally on a modern stack Our core stack is Java/ Kotlin/ Spring / PostgreSQL/ React 1
years management experience Experience with in-product virality and/or referral programs Development of growth loops Experience with onboarding flows, activation, funnel optimization Familiarity with experimentation frameworks Maintain code quality, performance, and sound architectural principles Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done Strong sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion Nice to have:
Experience scaling highly available, mission critical systems Proficiency with both marketing and product analytics, performance marketing and growth engineering Microservices architecture JUnit, Mockito, and other testing frameworks Why you'll love working here:

Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
