Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world. The Role We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Pricing team in the Lending Organization. This is an exciting role for someone to make a direct impact on the revenue of SoFi. As a senior data scientist in our Pricing team, you will be working closely with a world-class team of business leaders and data scientists to help SoFi develop, implement, and analyze pricing strategies across our consumer lending products What you'll do:
Pricing Execution (50%) Oversee the implementation and monitoring of all pricing strategies across the consumer lending businesses Audit and investigate data activity and integrity, preparing summaries of findings for both technical and non-technical audience Minimize deployment and execution error through construction of Tableau dashboards related to expected/actual pricing strategy KPIs Interact and collaborate with Engineering teams to continuously monitor data pipelines to ensure pricing strategy is running as expected Derive and present insights related to Pricing strategy audits to business leaders. Cross-Functional Representation (30%) Represent Pricing team with internal cross functional team on major technology and product initiatives Work with external partners to ensure flawless price execution across affiliate partner environments Strategy and Analytics (20%) Identify opportunities for improvement in pricing strategies to increase revenue/profit Support broader pricing team on analytics requests. What you'll need:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field is required for this position; 5-7 years of industrial experience working in the area of data analysis/data governance Exceptional programming skills in Python and SQL Strong knowledge of Tableau and experience building production-level dashboards Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with strong attention to detail; Effective communication skills and ability to explain complex models in simple terms; Strong relationship building and collaborative skills; Exceptional problem-solving skills; Nice to have:
Experience in building pricing models/strategies; Experience working with product and/or engineering teams Experience with Snowflake Experience with Gitlab Why you'll love working here:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
