Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Strategy & Business Operations team within the F5 Technology Services (TS) organization! This position will be responsible for program strategy, development, and execution in the IT transformation & strategy domain. This role will lead and drive a comprehensive strategic roadmap, overseeing key initiatives to ensure they effectively achieve the organization's strategy and goals. These initiatives will span people, process, and technology - all with the goal of transforming the TS org to be able to successfully support F5's business objectives. You will be responsible for guiding various complex projects and workstreams through the end-to-end lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional leaders, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver value at scale. You will work to ensure upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned across all levels from team members to the CIO. This person is a leader with high emotional intelligence, strength working cross-functionally, and an ability to influence and facilitate others to achieve program success. Primary Responsibilities Strategize and oversee program initiatives aligned to the overarching TS strategy Develop and maintain a program plan, roadmap, and timelines - identify workstreams and monitor the execution of the program per scope, schedule, resourcing, and budget Establish team structure for each workstream, providing direction to project leads and coordinators on various workstreams to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and risks to the overall program Create and monitor measures of success / KPIs for the program Partner with a Change Leader to identify a change management strategy and plan across the program Establish governance structure, handling any issues and proactively mitigating risks Serve as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, course-correcting as needed Establish program rhythm of business - including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadership Design and deliver executive-level presentations to support governance of high-risk projects Bring an outstanding blend of business and technical savvy:
a big-picture vision, the drive to make that vision a reality, and domain credibility to engage with stakeholders across F5 Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong project and program management skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships to engage, align, and gain stakeholder buy-in Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring globally diverse teams together to address issues and solutions Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to all levels of the organization Ability to give executive summaries to any level of leadership is key Strong organization and time management skills to keep programs on track Ability to manage effectively in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and competing priorities Qualifications 8
years' experience leading complex projects or programs to achieve strategic outcomes at technology-based companies or in technical domains Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated knowledge of software development, agile and project lifecycles PMP certification a plus The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
