Director AI and Technology Solution at Cambia Health Solutions in Seattle, WA
You will wake up every day working to solve the problem, What is the best way for AI technology to advance healthcare and the Cambia Cause? This requires a technical product leader who is skilled at partnering with executives to understand the most important strategic opportunities in front of Cambia and how do we clearly specify and validate those opportunities. It also requires a someone who has the technical AI background to partner with AI and machine learning SMEs. You will implement a product discovery process and develop the talent to connect the what is most valuable with what is possible intellectually synthesizing desired outcomes with technical capabilities. You will also lead a team of technical product managers, product owners, and technical program managers. Examples of focus areas include:

Partnering with the technical Director, AI and Data Science, and business leaders, we will develop a strategy and processes to transform Cambia into an AI mature organization. Your direct reports will be technical product & program managers and product owners supporting machine learning, data science, software engineering and platform engineering teams. General Functions and Outcomes Embed with business partners to understand their goals and latent needs. Apply design thinking and qualitative & quantitative research methods. Facilitate continuous discovery processes with business and clinical partners and technical SMEs to develop product hypotheses. Systematize the evaluation of product hypotheses all the way through feasibility assessment, proof of concepts, productization, and scaling. Develop external partnerships in collaboration with the technical directors to source data and technical platforms required to accelerate innovation. Provide thought leadership in technical product management and nurture AI maturity across the company. Reconcile the priorities of business customers with the current AI/ML portfolio, Member Insights & Personalization, Social Determinants of Heath, Payment Integrity, Shared Savings, Member Intelligence Platform, Claims Outlier Processing, OE Automation Manage AI Technical Product Managers, Software Engineering Technical Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Agile Product Owners, and Scrum masters. Minimum Requirements 10 years:
Demonstrated curiosity and leadership in tackling hard business problems using data science and machine learning to develop meaningful, practical solutions. 5 years success in applying lean-startup and continuous discovery process to technical product innovation. 15 years success in developing technology products. 7 years experience in healthcare related products. Understanding of healthcare provider, payer, and/or population health metrics, terminology, concepts. Proven experience leading the conceptualization and product lifecycle for AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning products at enterprise scale. Demonstrated
Experience:
Interacting with senior business executives. Providing advanced data insights in an e-commerce, financial services, internet advertising, healthcare or an equivalent field. Strong client-orientation when working with and for internal customers Collaboration in rapidly evolving environments. The preferred background includes a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science, mathematics, or a related subject area with a Master's degree preferred and at least 15 years of relevant work experience in solutions architecture or technical product management of software engineering, machine learning, data science and artificial intelligence products. Work Environment Work primarily performed in office environment. Travel to Seattle and/or Portland required up to 2x/month.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
