We're in search of a Marketing Analytics expert to lead the Marketing Performance organization with proven experience in leading analytics teams including scorecard development, in depth knowledge of industry best practices, proactively providing marketing performance updates with stakeholders, deep-dive analysis, and forecasting. As the Director of Marketing Performance, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing the analytics team, building strong relationships with key executives and stakeholders, proactively monitoring performance, and delivering meaningful and insightful analytics to ensure that the marketing organization is able to make data driven decisions. You will lead a team of analysts responsible for dashboard development, translating data into actionable insights, and providing 3-year forecasts and quarterly targets. You will partner closely with colleagues in Marketing Operations, Data Engineering and Data Science to deliver the work and contribute to our innovation pipeline. This is a highly visible role with a wide organizational impact that will require expertise in executive stakeholder management, knowledge of industry best practices, presentation and data visualization design, communications (internal and external), and organizational alignment to ensure that data insights resonate with a wide variety of business teams. Responsibilities:
Manage, lead, and develop a team of analysts, encouraging an environment of innovation, creative problem-solving approaches, testing/experimentation, and personal development Ensure analytics teams develop and utilize industry best practices in relevant areas such as marketing analytics, data visualization, statistical analysis, database queries, presentation design, and insight generation High level of collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and other cross functional leaders including clarity on the prioritization of analytical focus areas continuously tying deliverables with strategic initiatives Build and nurture marketing KPI's and ROMI models for measuring marketing contributions to the business Drive consultations and alignment across teams - distill complex business insights and actionable recommendations in a concise manner to align teams on key learnings from the results presented Monitor marketing performance and provide timely actionable insights Proactively identify new ways for Marketing to demonstrate performance and organizational impact Connect Marketing strategic initiatives and priorities and translate them into analytical dashboards Collaborate with Sales Ops and other operational functions on where/how Marketing can influence opportunities and revenue drivers Build strong relationships and trust with marketing and sales executives and their leadership teams. Ensure continuous dialogue, alignment on priorities, and a team focus on service and stakeholder enablement Constantly learn, have a clear pulse on innovation across the enterprise SaaS, marketing analytics, data science, customer data, and data
AI communities. REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Marketing or a field with a quantitative focus or a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience 10
years of relevant professional experience 5
years managing complex initiatives, delivering on measurable objectives/outcomes Experience leading and motivating a team of direct and indirect reports Highly analytical mindset with the ability to look at vast amounts of data and synthesize that information into intelligence that can be acted upon by the business, eventually optimizing the way forward Highly motivated critical thinker, creative problem solver Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to prioritize the team's deliverables against the needs of the organization Broad understanding of digital marketing analytics and the role of digital analytics and marketing platforms in evaluating the performance of campaigns, events, paid media, e-commerce, social media, etc. Must have proven expertise managing analytical models such as cohorts, attribution models, segmentation, cost per acquisition, customer lifetime value models, etc. Strong data manipulation and database modeling skills. Must be proficient in SQL, understand how to design and evaluate data models, and can closely partner with data engineers and architects to generate data sets needed to power analysis. B2B customer data experience a big plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) Duties may require some travel to F5 and industry events.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
