Senior Technical Writer, AWS Prescriptive Guidance

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations -- from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.
As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
We are looking for an experienced technical writer to work with the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team to create and enhance strategic and technical guidance for enterprise customers.
AWS ProServe includes a global team of experts who help enterprise customers realize their business objectives on the AWS Cloud.
The AWS ProServe team provides assistance through a collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption.
They also deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
In this role, you will help craft prescriptive guidance content for customers so they can implement AWS solutions that meet their business needs.
You will have the exciting opportunity to work with a stellar technical team of AWS ProServe experts to produce strategies, guides, and patterns in a cross-functional, fast-paced, distributed environment, and publish the content on the AWS Prescriptive Guidance website.
The ideal candidate is an independent and curious self-starter with a demonstrated ability to write and edit high-quality technical content, drive content planning, and collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and content experts across multiple teams.
Key job responsibilities - Create and implement a content plan in coordination with other technical writers and the AWS ProServe team - Work closely with AWS ProServe consultants to create and maintain high-quality content, and mentor them through the content development and publishing process - Rewrite, edit, and publish technical content, using HTML and XML-based publishing platforms and Git - Help create and implement content models and content strategy for ProServe content - Work closely with other writers, editors, program managers, and content architects in AWS Documentation, to share tools and best practices, and to deliver a consistent set of high-quality information and content experiences to support the adoption and implementation of AWS servicesA day in the lifeOur team puts a high value on work-life balance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
