As a Sr.
SWAT Risk Analyst in BRP, you will be responsible for analyzing terabytes of data to identify specific instances of risk, broader risk trends and points of customer friction.
You will develop scalable solutions for fraud prevention.
In addition, you will be responsible for building a robust set of operational and business metrics and will utilize metrics to determine improvement opportunities.
Key job responsibilitiesPerform complex data analysis to proactively generate actionable insightsIndependently solve ambiguous business problems and design risk strategies that are not clearly definedEnable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable formatCommunicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writingStrategically influence cross-functional teams in solving broad problemsA day in the life1.
Review instances of large fraud attacks and create comprehensive mechanisms to stop them2.
Report on fraud trends and improve org level health of evaluation systems3.
Create and maintain dashboards that detect and inform stakeholders (such as payment product owners) on how to stop fraudAbout the teamOur team consists of Risk Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers and Applied Scientist rolling under the core Buyer Risk Prevention Machine Learning Team.
We evaluate instances of organized buyer fraud attacks on Amazon platform WW across various payment methods.
We collaborate closely across multiple functions in order to mitigate these attacks through various short and long term solutions.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
