Senior Boomi DeveloperPosition Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Boomi Developer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of top-tier integration systems and applications on the Boomi platform.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate closely with customers and partners to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Boomi Projects (70%):
Collaborate with customers and partners to gather requirements and design complex business applications and data integration solutions on the Boomi platform.
Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration specifications.
Design, develop, and deploy Boomi Integration solutions, encompassing Rest APIs, EDIs, databases, XML, JSON, Flatfile, and other industry-standard protocols.
Build integrations with a variety of SaaS and on-premises systems such as JDE, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Azure D365, AWS Redshift, Lawson, and ELD platforms.
Provide architecture-level support including Boomi installation, performance tuning, enhanced monitoring, error handling, and the development of reusable/standardized Boomi integration components.
Implement best practices for managing and governing integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform.
Systems Support (20%):
Offer on-call and off-hour support for integration-related issues to ERP, warehouse, BI reporting, and corporate applications teams.
Provide support for EDIs, non-EDIs, and trading partner integrations for various processes including Orders, Invoices, Inventory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Financials, and HR.
Collaborate with business users and internal IT teams to troubleshoot specific problems or implement changes in programs.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation describing program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
Application Administration (5%):
Establish and uphold security standards and policies to ensure data encryption and overall data protection.
Offer insights into future programming trends such as SOA and AI.
Develop and deliver training and documentation to support integration development and maintenance activities.
Technology Project Support (Varied):
Evaluate emerging technologies in the field and contribute input into future systems strategies.
Enhance existing programs to adhere to process standards or make improvements.
Design and implement test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Additional Responsibilities (Varied):
Adhere to all IT standards, processes, and methodologies including Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
Undertake other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned based on business and organizational needs.

Demonstrated ability to design and optimize application and data integration processes across disparate systems.
Proficiency with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, iPass, application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases, ETL, and EDI.
Practical experience implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, HTTP, with a preference for Boomi expertise.
Experience with Cloud and Software-as-a-Service paradigm and associated technologies.
General understanding of common business systems (CRM, SFA, ERP) and processes (lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.
).
Familiarity with key application infrastructure components such as VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, SMB), Java JVM, networking (firewall, load balancing, proxies).
Proficient:
Significant experience collaborating with external customers.
Familiarity with Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes in the Logistics industry preferred.
Knowledge of Boomi AtomSphere or other visual-based integration middleware platforms.
Database skills including SQL, data modeling, and various databases (e.
g.
, MS SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle).
Messaging skills including JMS (e.

, ActiveMQ, MQSeries, OracleAQ), Boomi Atom queue.
Development/scripting skills with Java, Groovy, JavaScript.
