As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside a healthcare practitioner to use your clinical knowledge and skills to serve our patients.

Responsibilities:
Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records Phlebotomy- performed daily in every clinic Perform injections Prepare and clean exam rooms Submit medication prior authorizations Referral processing Recognizes symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately reports to clinician Acts as a liaison between patient, patient's family and clinicians Assists clinician with procedures and medical exams Performs point of care testing and reports abnormal laboratory values Assists in transporting patients as required This clinic is located at 520 Denny Way- near the intersection of Denny Way and Taylor Ave sign on bonus is subject to applicable taxes and repayment terms if employment is terminated within the first year.

Diploma or GED Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN) Washington State Medical Assistant Certified or Medical Assistant Interim certification, WA State Proof of COVID 19 vaccination is required for employees who interact with patients, access a shared office space, or engage with other team members.
Medical and religious exemptions will be considered upon submission.
