Summary:
Bold Hat Productions is Seattle's leading live event production and marketing company, responsible for some of Seattle's most notable food, beer & wine, music, craft, and community festivals.
We are a small team of 6 talented and fun individuals based in Fremont, so this will not be your average corporate internship.
At Bold Hat Productions you will have the opportunity to take on real responsibilities and projects while learning from people with years of experience in mass participation event planning and execution, marketing, and sponsorships.

Gain vital experience in organizing and executing diverse events, with hands-on involvement in event and participant development, vendor coordination, rental logistics, sponsorship, site planning, and database management at Bold Hat Productions.
Acquire versatile skills applicable not only to the event planning industry but also transferable to various fields.
Make a direct impact on planning and executing Seattle's most iconic events.
Position Duties and
Responsibilities:
Event Development & Logistics - Assist the Event Coordinator in developing and coordinating aspects of the event including but not limited to:
kids area, music, event merchandise, food sampling, beer and wine sampling, food and craft vendors, volunteers, event staff, and coordinating food donations.
Event Volunteers - work with the Event Coordinator and Marketing Department to recruit, develop volunteer shifts, manage pre-event/onsite, and develop volunteer systems.
Neighborhood Relations - work with the Event Director on all event neighborhood relations systems.
Attend meetings with neighbors affected by events, emails, database upkeep, and informational documents.
Administrative Office Assistance- Provide both general office assistance and event specific assistance.
Tasks include:
tidying up the office, managing supplies, participating in team and client meetings, assisting with emailing, mailings and copying; creating, updating, and managing databases; meeting weekly with Event Coordinator for task updates; running errands as needed.
Event Marketing- Assist the Marketing team with promoting our events on social media, street teaming in neighborhoods, creating content for traditional public relations outreach, and participate in creative marketing conversations.
Event Commitments:
- Involvement in several large events during the internship.
- Compensation for operational roles at events at a contracted hourly rate.
- Flexibility required for event dates with the possibility of extended hours (up to 15 hours a day).
- Potential for internship extension through September for Fremont Oktoberfest for those interested and available.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
