Retail Store Designer, Amazon Fresh
Industrial Design Implementation Engineering (IDIE) is seeking an experienced Sr.
Industrial Designer to join the Design Engineering team.
Our team works on pilot building projects for Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh Fulfillment and Distribution Centers.
We also provide support for existing network grocery projects.
This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining designs for buildings under the above business lines.
This includes end to end design support for buildings from concept to execution, engineering existing sites for value and efficiency, and creating and maintaining drawing standards for multiple business lines.
Drawings will require a high level of detail using various CAD programs.
A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with internal and external teams to generate high quality, cost effective solutions with ambiguous guidelines.
They will also be able work on multiple projects with various timelines while influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Key job responsibilitiesEnd to end design and industrial engineering support for buildings from concept creation to execution.
Partner with internal and external teams to streamline existing site layouts and workstations for value and efficiency.
Create design solutions that can scale and execute solutions with clear communication and documentation.
Maintain drawing standards for multiple business lines, and create them for new building types.
Create drawings with a high level of detail using various CAD programs as tools to communicate with internal and external teams.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
